Damon Salvatore.

I enjoy booze, frisky women, and blood.

It's my sincere pleasure to be in this town with all of you. I'm a joy to be around, unless you get on my bad side, so I would refrain from doing so.

Can’t sleep.

I’m well aware. Which is why you should let them out.

Stop denying it. Keeping your feelings bottled up isn’t good for you.

Midnight Stroll || Damon & Quinn

quinny-dear:

The reoccurring feeling of stupidity was not something Quinn was pleased with. It almost made her feel off balance and weak, and for Quinn Fabray, that just would not do. “I’m sorry. I suppose I’m a bit too curious for my own good, this concept, of what you are, its all new to me. And I’m trying my best to understand, though its all hard to take in as anything but a joke.” She shrugged lightly at her last words. It was true, though. If someone else who hadn’t just bitten her neck, had told her this, Quinn would have either thought them to be insane or just joking around. So now that she had to accept this fact, that vampires were real, well it was all too strange to her. Quinn felt herself flinch slightly at the gesture towards her neck. She had only been seconds away from dying, and if Damon hadn’t had any self restraint, there wouldn’t really be a Quinn Fabray left. “Well, thank you for your generosity in keeping me alive. You must have really went out of your way.” The small blonde’s tone was sarcastic, with a little bit of a teasing sound thrown in there. Quinn enjoyed arguing with Damon. It seemed to bring the real them out, and Quinn generally enjoyed the real Damon, despite his blood hungry ways. It was like a game, each one of them trying to gain the upper hand, get leverage on the other, or make someone feel weak in comparison. It seemed to be how they worked together, and they both worked fine with it. Their rivalry only making each want to do better, to be better. Quinn thought back to Damon’s brother, how she had ran into him one day, and how she luckily didn’t go anywhere private with him. It was odd to hear Damon explain him that way. He seemed to be a nice, charming young man, even Damon wasn’t that nice to anyone, except maybe her and that Elena girl. It brought a shiver of fear to her spine, running down the back of her with a shake.

Quinn laughed slightly as Damon described his grading scale. Was the boy serious? She should have known. It was like any man with their scale on how hot a girl was, except Damon’s idea of the game seemed to be more dangerous then the norm. After she had slipped on the thin fabric of her underwear and then her bra, that seemingly made her boobs bigger, she turned to Damon. A small smile playing on lips as she did. “Strawberry. Strawberry is my favorite ice cream. Use this information wisely.” Before returning to slip into her skirt and shirt, Quinn was distracted by the ripple of muscles on Damon’s body. His abs were perfectly chiseled, like an aceint Greek sculpture. She felt herself involuntarily lick her rosy lips, amazed at the sight before her. It there was such thing as perfect, Damon was close. When she was finally able to slip her gaze from the male, Quinn hurried as she put her clothes back on. The tried to fix her hair, she didn’t need her hair making it obvious of what she had been doing out in the woods. After her hair finally started to cooperate, Quinn walked back over to the tall man, wrapping her arms around him tightly. “Rate me.” Her voice was small as she spoke. Quinn wasn’t usually one to have a guy rape her, regardless of what the topic up for rating was. She found it all degrading, but in this instance, she couldn’t help but what to know where she was on his scale. She wanted to be the best in Damon’s eyes, and she was determined to get there.

Quinn started to walk along the side walk, following the lead of Damon, whose arm was tight and warm around her. She felt safe with him, more then safe if that was even possible. She didn’t want to leave his company, fear that because she now knew what was lingering in the shadows of Rosewood, they wouldn’t hesitate to hurt her. But she could tell that if she was with Damon, he wouldn’t let that happen, not to her. Bringing herself back to knowing that despite what he said, she knew she was important to him. “Alright Damon, I’ll play along. You will kill me if necessary, and I’m just a blood bag to you, nothing more. I have to say though, this game is really taking a hit at my ego. Couldn’t you just be realistic and accept that its quite the opposite of all that?” A large grin appeared on Quinn’s face, a small giggle coming with it. She wasn’t she if what she was saying was completely true, but it was fun to mess with the older boy nonetheless. Taking the hand that rested lightly on her should, the blonde placed a smile kiss upon it, trying to redeem herself from teasing the boy. His hand was large and strong, much like him. It had a rough feel that let her know he used them often for work or such. She liked how much she could tell just by looking at his hands, and the story they told only attracted Quinn to him more and more. Quinn giggled once again, her fingers moving to brush against the front of Damon’s pants. Teasing him lightly. “Are you sure you could handle round two, three, and four? I wouldn’t want you to start something you couldn’t finish.” The girl winked slightly at the end of her words before letting her body lean into his. His tall frame supporting her as they continued to walk.

“I’ll call. Before anything, before 911, before my mother, I will call you.” Quinn reassured him lightly, her tone turning to soft and sweet. Quinn had only spent a short period of time with the boy, most of it full of grunting and passion. But she still felt an attachment to him, a feeling that she didn’t want to be away from him for more then was necessary. She wasn’t sure if this was because of the sex, or because they just understood each other, but Quinn hoped more then anything that it was the latter. Though she didn’t mind the sex, she actually enjoyed it and found herself wanting it more and more, she didn’t want whatever they had to be based souly on them fucking like rabbits. And she hoped dearly that it was the same for him as it was for her, that she wasn’t just being some stupid and over emotional girl. “I do consider in an honor to be seeing your bachelor pad. I think it will be quite interesting. And maybe I’ll have to swing by often.” She let her words hang there, applying whatever he wished for her too. As they kept walking, Quinn heard her stomach rumble of hunger and she quickly placed her hand over it to try and stop the noise. She wondered how long it would toke to get to his place, and if he had any actually food she could eat.

Damon nodded his head in understanding. “Makes sense. The idea of a vampire must seem very unlikely to you… But it’s my reality.” He gave a small shrug of his shoulders, trying to seem nonchalant about it. You got used to it after a century and a half of being dead. It became your normal life. You got used to seeing people grow old, seeing them die, while you stayed frozen in time. That was one of the reasons Damon didn’t like staying in one place for too long. It was almost depressing, seeing everyone changed while you stayed the same. “The questions are entertaining, really. You don’t have to stop. Unless they get a little too…” He trailed off. “Let’s just say, the less you know, the better. I don’t want you getting hurt because you know too much.” Why did he care if she got hurt? It pained Damon to realize that. What was he doing? Why was he growing attached to this human? He really had some issues. He rolled his eyes at her sarcasm. “Believe me, it was a challenge, so unless you want me to finish the job, I would hold your tongue. And yet they both knew he wouldn’t hurt her. Why? He really needed to smack some sense into himself. Maybe it was only temporary. Tomorrow he would realize that she was just another human blood bag, and that was it.

He watched as she dressed, his eyes following her as she stood there in just her bra and underwear. “Strawberry,” he said with a nod. “I’ll keep that in mind when we incorporate food into the bedroom.” Damon gave her a slight grin. Just the thought of Quinn licking ice cream off his abs aroused him a little. He knew she probably meant in a more, ‘Oh, let me be nice and drop ice cream off at Quinn’s house’ way, but of course his mind jumped to the dirtier alternative. He shook his head as she tried to fix her hair. “You look perfect, Fabray. We’re not going to run into anyone. And if we do, they’re going to know anyway.” It was just.. almost obvious. They both had that.. glow of two people that just had sex. It was a look that you couldn’t just get rid of. Her arms wrapped around him and he stared down at the girl, trailing his fingertips down her spine. “Now that’s just a mystery, isn’t it..” he teased about the rating. He smirked, leaning down a bit and pressing a soft, quick kiss to her lips. “Let’s just say you’re in the top five for now.” He shouldn’t tell her that. It would boost her ego more than it needed to be. “And that’s out of a lot of people.” It was true though. For whatever reason.. her blood was delectable. Better than the usual.

“Quiet, Fabray,” Damon murmured as he walked with her, his arm around her waist. It was almost couple-y like, the two of them walking close down the pathway. He shook his head at her. “I won’t admit that because it isn’t true. I wouldn’t get your hopes up by thinking otherwise.” And that was true. He didn’t want Quinn to be disappointed. He knew that even if he ended up feeling something for the girl, it would never work out. He didn’t want her to be hurt when he eventually had to leave town and move on with his life. He never stayed in one place for too long. The kiss placed his hand was almost like an apology, so he let it go. And then, Quinn, deciding to be a tease.. He growled lightly as her hand brushed over the top of his pants. He held onto the blonde tighter, his hand pinching her ass in punishment. “Don’t tease me if you’re not going to follow through, Fabray. Trust me. I can handle an infinite number of rounds. Whoever tires first - which would be you.” Of course he had the upperhand, the superhuman powers. But whatever.

Before 911 she would call him. That was fairly reassuring and Damon nodded his head, though he wasn’t completely comforted. There were times she wouldn’t have time to reach for her phone. He thought of Elena, learning to protect herself. Maybe he could do the same with Quinn. “Don’t take that necklace off, Quinn. We’ll talk about more precautions later.” Maybe he could get her one of Alaric’s vervain grenades. That would come in handy. Then again, Quinn could always use it against him. That would truly suck. He glanced at the blonde, not sure if she was trying to imply something. “You’re welcome to swing by whenever you please,” he murmured to her. Hearing her rumble of hunger, he glanced down at the girl and chuckled quietly. “Hungry?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. If they looked decent, he would suggest they go out somewhere. “I have a few things back at my place.” He kept them if Elena came over, or Alaric. “Not sure if you want that. We could stop somewhere and pick you up something..” It was almost odd that they were having such a normal conversation. Since when did he pick up foods for humans? It was an odd concept to him almost. But he wanted to deny that he cared for the girl already. It meant nothing.

Midnight Stroll || Damon & Quinn

quinny-dear:

Quinn rolled her eyes. Obviously she had, yes, just tasted it, but Quinn wanted to know what was so amazing about blood that he had to have it? What attracted him to it so much that nothing would satisfy him as much. “Well yes, but what makes you crave it so much? Why do you need it so bad?” Her mind seemed to jump to a heroin addict and there need for the substance. The actions of a vampire seemed to mimic a drug addict perfectly. The way they seemed to fiend for the substance that created such a frenzy with in them. Not to mention the way both seemed to get cranky and intolerable if the haven’t had that little addiction in so long. She could hardly bare the thought of comparing Damon to a drug addict, but it was the closest thing she had to trying to understand the demon within him. “One last question?” Her voice was small but strong as she spoke, her curiosity flaring on. “Does all blood taste the same, or do you fancy others more then some?” Her question seemed odd as it left her lips, but the petite girl couldn’t help but feel like she had to have the best blood. At least, she needed to in Damon’s eyes. Quinn let out a small giggle at Damon. “Any sane person wouldn’t have come into the woods with you for inappropriate reasons. You should have noticed I wasn’t completely in the right state of mind when I agreed to do this.” She smiled lightly as her fingers danced lightly upon the boys face, her hands traveling up to tangle delicately in his raven colored hair.

“The threat wasn’t taken as empty, it was only dismissed. I would rather not think about you hurting me. Though, I am starting to question whether you have it in you. I may be just a stranger, but you enjoy me more then you are willing to admit. That much, I can tell.” Quinn kept a perfect poker face as she spoke, not wanting to show any sign of weakness towards the rather morbid topic. The blonde would jump at any chance to have the upper hand over anyone, and even though Damon could kill her, she wasn’t going to make it easy for him. That was simply a Quinn tactic. “I’ll get it out of you eventually. Especially since I am really the only one you seem to talk to willingly. Don’t underestimate Salvatore.” Quinn ignored the rude comment he so nicely stated after. Instead she set a dead glare on him. “Maybe round two won’t happen. Or maybe it will, only with someone who isn’t a complete asshole.” The girl let her displeasure show, unhappy with his words. She wasn’t a girl who let people talk to her like she was some animal, and Damon was surely no exception to that rule.

Quinn saw the sad turn of the beautiful smile on Damon Salvatore’s lips. She could tell he wasn’t completely happy, though she wasn’t sure why. He was a very attractive, and intelligent male who had eternity to do what he pleased with whoever he pleased. Sadness just didn’t seem possible for the arrogant male, but Quinn still found herself yearning to make everything okay. To help his pain, needing to make his charming smile appear, where seconds before it had lain. Cupping his cheeks with her tiny hands, Quinn reached her head up and placed a small but comforting kiss on his lips. She let her lips linger there, taking all of him in before she let the space separate them again. “Is that what you were trying to do earlier? Make me forget what you are?” The blonde’s mind was spinning, her mind baffled that he had the ability to erase her memories. Her mind jumped around, wondering if someone like him had erased her memories before, and wondering if anyone back in Lima was like him. It would sure come in handy for pests like Rachel Berry, and Finn Hudson. Maybe Damon could even make her forget her pain over Beth, like it never had happened. Shaking her head slightly, Quinn felt bad about even thinking that and she quickly changed topic and asked another, probably idiotic, question. “Why didn’t it work with me?”

The small kisses placed across Quinn’s face were comforting, and she let herself relax under Damon’s muscular frame. She felt safe there, underneath him. Even though her could just as easily destroy any remain of her just as the ones she was so scared of. The petite blonde nodded, fully believing that Damon would protect her from any harm. His blue eyes convincing her so, as she peered into them, unable to turn her head from the beautiful sight. “Thank you.” Her words were barely audible as she wrapped her arms tighter around Damon. She kissed him with passion, conveying how thankful she was for him as her lips moved against his in their own little dance. After she let her fingers wander his body some more while they kissed, Quinn felt a slight shiver run down her spine. It had gotten late and cold, especially without any clothing. “Now, if I do remember correctly, you are supposed to be whisking me off to your place.” With a small wink, Quinn pushed Damon off of her, and got up to redress herself.

Damon thought about this, tilting his head a little. He didn’t know why blood tasted good to him… It just did. “I’m a vampire, Quinn. That’s just how it works. Blood to us is like food to you. It’s our sustenance. It keeps us going. It’s what we survive off of.” It was just how things worked. “And once you get the first taste… It’s hard to stop after that. It took me a lot of years to control myself.” He nodded at her neck. “That.. was because I wanted to. Because feeding off of blood bags is dull, and I’m tired of being on my best behavior. My brother?” His expression sobered a little. This brought him back to why he was in Rosewood - for family. “He’s high off of human blood right now. He’s completely out of control. Dangerous. That’s what happens when you have too much. And especially when you start to really, truly lose your humanity… It’s just a bad combination.” She was full of questions, though he couldn’t blame her. At least they were different from the usual - can you see your reflection, do you sparkle in the sun, do you sleep in a coffin, does garlic bother you. Damon nodded slowly. “Some blood is better than others, yes. It’s like.. flavors of ice cream, for lack of a better metaphor. You have your favorites, don’t you?” He smirked for a moment, amused as an old memory popped into his head. “Actually, I used to have a sort of grading scale. Ranked victims on their blood.” It sounded a little heartless, but oh well. That was who he was. His breathing evened out slowly as he stared at the girl, enjoying the feeling of her fingers running through his hair. He should distance himself from Quinn Fabray. He was enthralled with her, he could notice the telltale signs. Although Damon was quite the womanizer and a cruel person, he was quite capable of falling for someone. Katherine and Elena were exhibits A and B. Hell, he had even felt something for Rose and Andie, along with other girls in the past. And when he looked at Quinn, he was pleased that the thoughts of Elena slipped away.

Mm, she was calling him out. Damon didn’t really like that. As much as he did enjoy Quinn’s company, he didn’t want her to know that. She wasn’t supposed to be aware. “I would hurt you if I had to,” he said easily, his voice a little cold. “Never doubt that. Even if I act nice towards you, I’m still quite capable of killing you, and if I had a reason, then I would.” He wasn’t going to let her underestimate him. And he was warning her that it was a bad idea to trust him, that he was a bad person. This was her chance to run, her chance to escape. Not that Damon wanted to. It was in her best interest, but he wanted her around. “I wouldn’t hold yourself in such high esteem. I barely know you, Fabray. And as important as you think you are to me, I’d have to tell you that you’re wrong.” To an extent she was. He wasn’t in love with the girl, but he did care about her. He wanted to keep seeing her like this. He wanted to protect her from the supernatural world, shield her from it. His eyebrows furrowed and the vampire let out a small growl. “Round two, three, and four will happen - with me,” he said in a low, final tone. He ducked his head to her neck, to the spot where he had drank from her, his regular, human teeth nipping across her skin harshly. He couldn’t help but notice that he was already possessive over the girl, claiming his territory. He didn’t want anyone else touching her. That was a trait Damon had built up over the years, due to his younger brother being involved with all the women he truly loved. He didn’t even want to think about him doing something with Quinn, but he couldn’t say it wasn’t expected. He should probably be preparing himself for it.

He was a little caught off-guard by the gentle, reassuring kiss placed on his lips. He wasn’t used to the soft gestures, the kind ones. But he couldn’t deny that he enjoyed it, just for the moment. God, Quinn Fabray was making a mess out of him. Damon should be scolding himself, distancing himself from the girl… But it wasn’t like he hadn’t fallen for Elena quickly, right? Then again, she looked like Katherine, so that gave her a little leverage to begin with. Quinn didn’t remind him of anyone. She was affecting him all on her own. “That’s what I was trying to do,” he admitted quietly, tilting his head a bit as he looked down at her. “Keeps people from running around town, screaming about our identity… But apparently you’re protected from that.” He glanced at her necklace, cupping it with his hand and looking down at it in his palm. He could rip it off of her neck right now, leaving her vulnerable, but Damon left it there. He met her gaze for a moment before looking back at the necklace. “It has vervain. It’s an herb that’s basically..” He hesitated. He shouldn’t be giving out a weakness to a human. But she already knew, now. He couldn’t exactly take it back. “It keeps a vampire from compelling you, and if you intake it, put it in your drinks or something, then they won’t feed off of you. It’s protection, essentially.” His mouth hardened into a line as he thought of her actually taking vervain into her system. That would mean he couldn’t taste her anymore. It would taint her blood.

The gaze shared between them was intense as Damon made his promise to her. He would keep her safe. He would make sure of it. And he was taking it seriously. He stared at her intently. “If you’re ever in trouble and I’m not around.. Don’t hesitate to call me, Quinn. You better call me.” He didn’t even want her going anywhere alone, especially if she had pissed off some of the baddest vampires in town. But he couldn’t prevent her from that unless he followed her around everywhere. And he was a busy guy. He had to keep an eye on Elena as well. Damon didn’t hesitate to kiss her back, his lips slowly moving against her’s. He took his time, carefully exploring her mouth with his tongue, trying to memorize every detail, taste every inch. He was cupping the side of her face, and let out a mix between a groan and a sigh when she pulled away. “Yeah, yeah, Fabray.” He let her get up, watching her naked body as she got dressed. He smirked a little to himself and then grabbed his boxers, slipping into them. He tugged his pants up, buttoning them, and then stood there for a moment, tossing his shirt over his shoulder and standing there shirtless. “You should consider it an honor, getting to see my humble abode.” He continued to watch her until she was fully dressed, and only then did he finish, pulling his shirt over his head. He then casually slung an arm around her shoulders, pressing a kiss to her temple without thinking about it. “Let’s go,” he said simply, leading the blonde down the path, in the direction of his new place in Rosewood.
